Okmulgee Wrestling Team win Coach Gary McKee-Bulldog Classic Wrestling Tournament

The Okmulgee High School Wrestling Team won the 2014 Coach Gary McKee-Bulldog Classic Wrestling Tournament. Coach Houston said the team had four champions and a number of placers in the event.

Tournament champions were :

152 Lbs/Bobby Rubison, 160 Lbs/Greg Jones, 170 Lbs/Brad Bell, 220 Lbs/Nate Moss
Runner-Up: 106 Lbs/William Cook
3rd Place Finishers: 113 Lbs/Deshawn Edwards, 152 Lbs/Marquise Coleman, Heavy Weight Collin Harjo
4th Place Finishers: 120 Lbs/Mowgli Adamson, 138 Lbs/Tyler Robol, 145 Lbs/Treshard Thomas

Junior High Placers:

Champion 126 Lbs/Brandon Higgs
Runner-Up 160 Lbs/Chris Wallace
3rd Place Finisher 160 Lbs/Alex Griffin
All wrestlers did an outstanding job. Our next match will be this Thursday @ 6pm @ the Brock against Quinton. Come support your bulldog wrestlers.

The Okmulgee Wrestling Team finished fourth at the Bulldog Wrestling Classic. Tournament Champions were Keaton Bird 98 lbs and Brandon Higgs 126 lbs.

Tournament Runner Up were Chris Wallace 160 lbs. and 3rd Place Finisher was Alex Griffin 160 lbs.

4th Place Finishers were Melic Jefferson 106 lbs, Cameron Culpitt 113 lbs, & Kenny Scott 132 lbs.

"All the wrestlers did an outstanding job," said Coach Houston.

Their next match is Thursday Dec 11 at 6pm against Quinton at Brock Gymnasium.
