The Okmulgee County Health Department is now offering extended hours on Thursdays from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Patients must be checked in by 6 p.m.
Services offered include children’s immunizations, checks on blood pressure and head lice, adult vaccinations, blood lead screenings, tuberculosis follow-up and treatment, emergency contraceptives and pregnancy tests. For current clients, they also offer refills of birth control pills and Depo-Provera.
