Okmulgee Elementary School celebrates learning on Constitution Day

The Okmulgee Elementary School held an assembly for Constitution Day Sept. 17. OES Teacher Toni Peterson conducted a game show, "Are You Smarter than a 5th Grader?"

Questions were asked about The Constitution by Mrs. Courtney Norton to the contestants. They each had a electronic button to push if they knew the answer.

The 5th grade members were Hayden Frazier, Colby Ledbetter, and Kelbi West. The OES staff consisted of Deborah Tuggle, Lucky Burney and Principal Phillip Ware. The game show host and score keeper was Mr. Duranti Payne who did an outstanding job.

The final score was 45-02 in favor of the OES 5th graders vs the school staff. Congratulations to the 5th grade team on winning this contest.
