The September 12 Republican meeting will feature two more candidates for the 2018 election cycle. This is a great opportunity for all Registered Republicans, or those who are considering voting for one of the Republican candidates for the 2018 election cycle, to get an early first impression.
This month's featured candidates are Matt Pinnell, who is running for Lt. Governor and Glen Mulready who is running for Insurance Commissioner.
Matt has the honor of being the youngest Republican State Party Chairman in the U.S. at the time of his election. He was so successful in this role he was asked by Reince Priebus to serve as the State Party Director for the Republican National Committee. He then lead the transition team when Reince went to Washington D.C. Matt and his wife Lisa are entrepreneurs who created a new baby product that has now grown into an international business. Matt and his family live in Tulsa.
Glen Mulready spent 13 of 33 years in the private sector insurance industry working on the executive teams of Oklahoma's two largest health insurance companies. Glen currently serves the public in the House of Representatives as the Majority Floor Leader. He previously served as chair of the House Insurance Committee leading efforts to reform our state's insurance laws. Glen and his family live in Tulsa.
Also, we will be receiving a brief update on the budget situation from Representative Scott Fetgattter.
